INTRODUCTION
to Technical Diving
This course will cover the NAUI
Technical Diver Equipment Configuration and the fundamental skills
of technical diving.
We will spend two evenings from
6-10pm in the classroom at UnderSea Adventures. Followed by
four open water skill development dives.
Prerequisites:
•18 years of age.
•Advanced and Nitrox Certifications
•25 Logged dives, with 5 on Nitrox.
Course Cost is $500
Required Equipment includes: 50
lb. lift bag, Spool with at least 100' of line, Dive tables, Line
cutting device, Double back mounted tank configuration (or single
tank with dual outlet), Harness and wing BC.
Students will learn about diving equipment, physics,
physiology, environment, dive tables, safety, and dive planning as
well as an introduction to water skills
needed for safe technical
diving.
