What to Bring:
Standard Scuba Gear and (mask, fins, snorkel, weights, weight
belt, dive knife, dive
tables and dive log) You will need to pick-up a buoyancy compensator, regulator and
full wet suit, hood and gloves from UnderSea Adventures on Thursday,
prior to the trip. If you plan on bringing your own gear (NA for certification)
some requirements will have to be met CALL for info
Directions:
Take I-20 West toward Birmingham Ala. to I-459 South to I-65 South to Exit 246
(Cahaba Valley Rd.) turn right at the end of the ramp. Go about 1/2 mile and turn LEFT
on Highway 31 South. Go to the 4th red light and turn RIGHT on
Industrial blvd. Go through a 4 way stop and you will see the quarry on the
left....You should plan to arrive at Alabama Blue Water Scuba between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m.,
Alabama time (Central time) Saturday morning
Accommodations:
Room Rates vary between $45-$80. We will be staying at the Sleep Inn (205.982.9800).
You will need a room for Saturday night.
